Ronnie gamble Scholarship
The Forest Lake Football Booster Club is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuit in memory of former coach Ronnie Gamble. The scholarship is available to Forest Lake High School Seniors that participate in football. A Scholarship is awarded to the senior athlete who best exemplifies effort, dedication, commitment and spirit regardless of position on the team. It recognizes the athlete who the team could count on to give his best effort at practice, pitch in to help with team needs, encourage teammates to excel, but was not necessarily the star of the team or even a starter. The Ronnie Gamble Forest Lake Football Memorial Scholarship is given to one Student Athlete (Football) that exemplifies how Coach Gamble lived and worked each day. Coach Gamble was a very humble man that was not selfish and regularly put others before himself. His dedication to the Forest Lake Football program will be hard to replicate. In honor of Coach Gamble this scholarship was started.
Applications will be accepted starting in January 2025.

“You see a young man come through the door as a freshman and he's as awkward as can be ... and he walks out the door a senior, a well-rounded kid and a well-rounded student, a player you know is going to get it. You help a kid find out that in football toughness is very important, but in life true toughness comes from courageous actions and making good decisions.” - Coach Gamble
