RONNIE GAMBLE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Forest Lake Football Booster Club is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits in memory of former coach Ronnie Gamble. This scholarship is available to Forest Lake High School Seniors that have participated in high school football. A scholarship is awarded to the senior athlete(s) who best exemplifies effort, dedication, commitment, and spirit regardless of position on the team. It recognizes the athlete(s) who the team could count on to give his best effort at practice, pitch in to help with team needs, encourage teammates to excel, but was not necessarily the star of the team or even a starter.

Forest Lake Football Booster Club Scholarship Committee will evaluate the scholarship applications and make the final scholarship selection.

Requirements for application:

• A 2027 graduating senior and participated in Varsity Football at Forest Lake Area High School.

• Plan to attend a college, university, or trade school following graduation.

• Exhibit both school and community involvement.

• Minimum 2.5 GPA (to be verified by FLHS Administration)

• No athletic suspensions (to be verified by FLHS Administration)

• Complete an application process consisting of:

1. 2027 Scholarship Application Form (Online Form)

2. Applicant/Parent Cover Letter (upload into the electronic application)

3. One letter of recommendation from a high school varsity coach, teacher or administrator to be emailed directly to the FL Football Booster Club or uploaded with your application. (Applicant should print and deliver this form (Letter of Recommendation) to the teacher or administrator of their choice.

The 2027 application will open on, January 1, 2027. Applicants must submit their electronic application by 11:59 pm on March 31, 2027.
