

Varsity Coaching Staff
Brad Beeskow - Head Football Coach / Offensive Coordinator / Quarterbacks
Coach Beeskow begins his second year as Head Football Coach at Forest Lake, following a 7-3 section runner-up season in 2022. In addition to his head coaching duties, he will coordinate the offense and coach the quarterbacks. Coach Beeskow played high school football at Andover High School, where he was an all-conference player, and collegiate football at St. Cloud State University and the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, where he was a starter and four year letter winner. His coaching experience includes stops at Augsburg University (2015-2018) as an offensive assistant and the Academy of Holy Angels (2019-2021) as the offensive coordinator, where his team won back to back section championships with trips to the state tournament in 2020 & 2021. Coach Beeskow’s goal for the program is to create an energetic and exciting work environment as we teach life skills through the game of football to our players and our families where we enjoy the process of playing high school football and the relationships we create through our football family. The team motto of “WORK” truly embodies what it means to be a football player and community member in Forest Lake where we control how hard we work on a daily basis. Coach Beeskow currently lives in Forest Lake with his wife Haley and daughter’s Benson (2) and Bayler (8 months). He currently works as the Achievement Specialist at Forest Lake High School.
Adam Burtness - Defensive Coordinator / Linebackers
Coach Burtness begins his second year as Defensive Coordinator at Forest Lake. In addition to his coordinating duties he will coach the inside linebackers for the defense. Coach Burtness played high school football at Andover High School and has been coaching high school football for the previous 12 years. His coaching experience includes stops at Andover (2011-2015, 2020-2021) and Irondale High School (2016-2019) where he has coached linebackers, defensive backs, and running backs. Coach Burtness’ coaching philosophy is to provide passion and confidence in helping young adults grow to become their best on the football field and in the classroom. Coach Burtness currently lives in Columbia Heights with his significant other Bella. He currently works as a personal trainer in downtown Wayzata.
Ross Kigner - Wide Receivers / Technology Coordinator
Coach Kigner joins the Forest Lake coaching staff with over a decade of football coaching experience in the Suburban East Conference. Coach Kigner’s focus will be with the Wide Receivers. Over the last decade Coach Kigner’s helped secure two SEC Football Conference Championships, a trip to the 6A Football State Semi-Finals, an SEC Conference Champion in the Shot-Put, and was awarded the 2019 Section 4AA Assistant Track & Field Coach of the Year award. Coach Kigner grew up in White Bear Lake and is a graduate of Mounds Park Academy. He played football for St. Paul Academy before becoming a four-year letter winner as a defensive back and kicker at the Univ. of Minnesota Morris. Coach Kigner’s mission is to strengthen our relationships everyday which will make us better at everything in the community, classroom, and in competition. Coach Kigner currently lives in White Bear Lake with his wife Lauren, daughter Rorie, and son Luka. He works as a property manager and a substitute teacher at Forest Lake High School.
Jesse Bade - Running Backs / JV Offensive Coordinator / Head Strength and Conditioning
Coach Bade begins his fifth year coaching at Forest Lake and his second as the running backs coach. In addition to his duties as running backs coach he is also the JV offensive coordinator and the head strength and conditioning coach for the high school. Coach Bade played high school football at Genoa Kingston High School in Illinois and collegiate football at William Penn University. His coaching experience also includes work as an assistant coach at William Penn University. Coach Bade’s coaching philosophy is as a coach, the impact that is made on the athletes that we come in contact with is some of the most important parts of these student athletes lives as they grow into the young men and women that they will become after their time with us. His goal is to positively impact the student athletes in as many ways as possible and hopefully mold the young men and women of our community into respectable, responsible, and hard working members of our society as they move forward into their own journeys. There is nothing that pays more than hard work and I am forever grateful to be a part of their journey. Coach Bade currently lives in North Branch with his wife Ashlee and daughter Gracelynn (9 months). He works in the special education department at Forest Lake High School.
Austin LeTexier - Offensive Line
Coach LeTexier will begin his second year as the offensive line coach at Forest Lake. Coach “Tex” played 9-man football at Sacred Heart High School in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. He also played at the collegiate level for University of Minnesota - Duluth. His coaching experience includes 6 years as the varsity offensive line coach at Minneapolis Washburn High School. Coach LeTexier’s coaching philosophy is: “It is important to create an environment where players trust you and feel comfortable asking questions. I would rather you ask a question and be a fool for a moment rather than not ask and be a fool for a lifetime." His player philosophy is: “You are a family, sometimes we will bicker and fight with each other; but we will always fight FOR each other”. Coach LeTexier currently lives in Forest Lake with his Fiance Vanessa and their son Barrett (10 months), and their chocolate lab Gryffindor. He is currently a math teacher at Forest Lake High School.
Aaron Pavek - Defensive Line
Coach Pavek begins his second year as the defensive line coach at Forest Lake. Coach Pavek played high school football at Brainerd High School where he was an all conference player and played in the Minnesota high school all star game and collegiate football at St. Cloud State University. His coaching experience includes work as an assistant coach at St. Cloud State once he finished his playing career. Coach Pavek’s coaching philosophy supports technical aggressive defensive line play as he strives to help players realize their potential at the High School Level. Coach Pavek currently lives in Forest Lake with his wife Kyli, daughter Rowyn (3), son JJ (11 months) and loyal hunting companion Kona. He currently works at Arvig Media as a Marketing Executive
Ben Bahneman - Cornerbacks
Coach Bahneman begins his second season as the defensive backs coach at Forest Lake. Coach Bahneman played high school football at Centennial High School where he was an all district player. His coaching philosophy is ‘Hard Work Pays Off’ and ’Trust The Process’. He believes that this can not only be applied to sports but also your everyday life. Some of Coach Bahneman's goals are to achieve sustainable success on the football field as well as in the classroom, build lifelong relationships, and to assist our community / players / staff to become the best self we can be. Coach Bahneman currently lives in Shoreview with his wife Lauren and his son Brooks (2) and he currently works at SPS Commerce as a Lead Analyst under Fulfillment Operations
Chinni Oji - Safeties
Coach Oji begins his second season as the defensive backs coach at Forest Lake. Coach Oji played high school football at Irondale High School where he was an all district player and collegiate football at the University of St. Thomas where he was an all-american. Coach Oji coached defensive backs for 6 years at Irondale High School. His coaching philosophy is putting players in the best position to show their full potential in all aspects of the game. Coach Oji currently lives in St. Paul with his girlfriend Kelsey and he currently works in the Mounds View School District as an Equity Coordinator.
Eric Ososki - Outside Linebackers
Coach Ososki begins his first season as the outside linebackers coach at Forest Lake. Coach Ososki played high school football at Irondale High School where he was an all district player and has coached at Irondale High School before coming to Forest Lake. He Currently works in the Forest Lake School District as a Behavior Specialist.
Justin Wolf - Kickers/Punters
Coach Wolf begins his first year as the kickers/punters coach at Forest Lake. Coach Wolf played high school football at Spring Lake Park High School and ran track collegiately at Minnesota State University - Mankato. His coaching experience includes stops at Buffalo High School (2014-2017) and Champlin Park High School (2020-2021) where he has also coached soccer and track and field. His coaching philosophy is to connect with players while teaching the fundamentals of accurate and consistent kicking which provides a dependable tool to the important aspect of the game in special teams. Coach Wolf currently lives in Blaine with his wife Lisa and daughter Aspen (6 months). He currently works as a financial advisor for North Star Resource Group.
Sophomore Coaching Staff
Jamie Laszczak - Head Sophomore Coach
Coach Laszczak begins his third season coaching football at Forest Lake High School and his second season as the head coach of the sophomore team where he will work with the QB’s, RB’s and LB’s. Coach Laszczak played high school football in West Branch, Iowa, where he was a 3 year starter and multi year all conference player at Quarterback and Strong Safety, he also played collegiately at Simpson College where he was an all conference outside linebacker for Simpson's winningest class in school history, going 35-5, with two conference titles and 3 NCAA playoff appearances. After college, Coach Laszczak served in the United States Army as an Army Ranger. Coach Laszczak has been a football coach and sports performance and development coach for 15 years. His coaching experience includes stops at West Branch, Iowa; Vestavia Hills, Alabama and he has been a head youth coach in Forest Lake, coaching 4th -8th Grade. His coaching philosophy follows the guidelines of integrity, hard work, passion & compassion along with unmatched work ethic and preparation. He believes that these attributes will drive success for the student/athletes, and build a strong foundation with the student/athletes, parents and Forest Lake community. Coach Laszczak is retired and currently enjoys living in the Forest Lake area with his wife Kelly and two boys, Stefan and Nile. In addition to coaching football he also coaches hockey athletes at Forest Lake High School.
Austin Bauer - Assistant Sophomore Coach
Coach Bauer begins his first season coaching at Forest Lake where he will work on the sophomore staff coordinating the defense. He comes to Forest Lake from Caledonia High School. He currently works at Forest Lake High School as a math teacher.
Leo Kressin - Assistant Sophomore Coach
Coach Kressin begins his second season coaching at Forest Lake as an assistant on the sophomore staff where he will work with the WR/DB’s. Coach Kressin played high school football right here at Forest Lake High School.. His coaching philosophy is all about passion, hard work, accountability, and trust and his goal is to be a role model for these student athletes and mold them into successful people for the present and the future.He believes that these traits bring together teammates as family, and provide success both on and off the field. Coach Kressin currently lives in Scandia, MN and he is currently attending Anoka Technical College in an electrician program.
Freshman Coaching Staff
Casey Irish - Freshman Head Coach / Youth Football League President
Coach Irish begins his 8th year coaching at Forest Lake and his second as the head freshman coach. He is also in his 10th season as the president of the Forest Lake Youth Football League. Coach Irish played high school football at Luck High School in Wisconsin and has been coaching football at various levels for 12 years. He began coaching in 2010 in Forest Lake and started at the youth level coaching 4th grade through 8th grade and assumed that role until he was promoted to the high school staff in 2016. Coach Irish’s coaching philosophy is that he coaches to help build up young men and women to achieve their goals through great work ethic, competition, and determination to succeed. He strives to share his passion for sports, to help build lifelong relationships, to teach honesty and integrity, to help teach commitment and to teach athletes to be the best possible person and teammate possible. Coach Irish currently lives in Forest Lake with his wife Stormy and sons Terrance (Forever 10), Calvin (20), Xavier (18), Adrian (15) and daughters Aliyah (16), Jersey (16), Excelsior (11). He currently works at NAC Mechanical & Electrical Fleet, as a logistics & device manager.
Duane Dumonceaux - Assistant Freshman Coach
Coach Dumonceaux begins his fourth season coaching at Forest Lake as an assistant on the freshman staff where he will work with the WR’s and DB’s. Coach Dumonceaux played high school football at St. John’s Prep in Collegeville, MN and played collegiate football at St John’s University where he played wide receiver and special teams. He has been coaching for 14 years in the Forest Lake community. His coaching philosophy is believing that playing sports not only builds character and confidence, but also gives each person a sense of accomplishment. He believes that giving players an opportunity in sports can prepare them for life as they grow up and become adults. He believes in playing and working as a team and as a team player, not as an individual and strives to provide an environment to encourage student athletes to learn and develop on and off the field to create a positive experience so players can communicate, be responsible and hold themselves and their teammates accountable for their behaviors both on and off the playing field and in everyday life. Coach Dumonceaux currently lives in Columbus with his wife Amy and sons Nolan (18) and Owen (14). He currently works as an area manager for Performance Food Services out of Rogers, MN.
Tom Cubus - Assistant Freshman Coach
Coach Cubus begins his first season on staff at Forest Lake, where he will coach the offensive and defensive lines for the freshman team.
Noah Fleming - Assistant Freshman Coach
Coach Fleming begins his first season on staff at Forest Lake, where he will coach the wide receivers and defensive backs for the freshman team. He currently works at Forest Lake Area Middle School as a teacher and is the Head Lacrosse Coach for Forest Lake High School
